Good afternoon,
I hope this e-mail finds you and your family well. On the diocesan web-site are two pages of faith formation resources, one for leaders and one for parishioners. At this time, I would include parents as leaders as they are teaching their children at home. Resources for leaders go to: portlanddiocese.org/olff/covid19-home-leaders. This page intitled: Pray, Learn, Connect from Home FOR LEADERS is from Resources and Ideas for Leaders Curated by OLFF staff. This gives Faith Formation information for all ages including adults. For parishioners, go to : portlanddiocese.org/olff/covid19-home.
This page intitled: Pray, Learn, Connect from Home, Our practices as Catholics already provide us with skills and experiences that we can use to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic faithfully and constructively. This resource page helps bring our faith into the current reality of everyday life. These pages are updated as new resources become available. Please share this information with your faith formation families and our parishioners.
I also invite families and parishioners to share with me what they are doing personally and with their families as they live and grow in their Catholic faith.
Prayers and Blessings to each of you,
Deacon Larry
Many of our Parishes sponsor retreats for adults, families and teens. These are special opportunities to grow in faith together. For those hosted by our Cluster, we will keep them posted on this page throughout the year. We look forward to seeing your family!
