** Ever thought about what it takes to keep God's house & church
going!?
From the care of the building to the care of His people:
Cleaning the church and hall, washing Linens, stockings kitchen supplies, caring for the plants (inside & outside), musicians and singers, altar servers, readers and Eucharistic Ministers, greeters, faith formation leaders (Catechists), fellowship after Masses and that's just naming a few. Many of these tasks are done by volunteers, so THANK YOU!
We do have some areas in need right now...
** Ministry - we are in Need of more Altar Servers, Readers and Extraordinary Ministers!!
Have you heard?? The cup of the Precious Blood is coming back. It will make a single Mass debut on Holy Thursday (The Lord's Supper April 6th). After that night, it will begin being offered at Daily Masses as of Mon. , April 10th and at the weekend Masses beginning Saturday, May 6th.
**Hospitality - support with Fellowship after Mass (Set-up, Bakers and Clean up), or with Baptism and and funeral receptions
** CLOW (Children's Liturgy of the Word) - Adults willing to guide our youngsters (with materials and training provided); this is during the Mass
** Catechists - Adults to help with Faith Formation classes; this is between the Masses
Think about it!

Content is focused on children ages 4-8, although younger children with an adult are welcome. Some older children may still find this of interest and are also welcome. Parents are welcome to join their children for this free ministry. No registration required, children are called forth just prior to the Liturgy of the word for the main assembly (first reading of Mass) and return after the prayers of the faithful. We need help to get this Important ministry of the ground again. Anyone interested in helping please contact Jill Russell-Morey 207-317-0383 OR [email protected]
Training and materials provided.
Attention OLPH TEEN YOUTH MINISTRY!
Next meeting is Sunday evening, March 12th, from 5-7 pm. Our dinner will be Italian-themed, with pasta and sauces, salad, bread, and dessert. At this meeting we are planning to have a 'work party' making fleece tie blankets to donate to Project Linus/Mother Seton House, as well as dog toys for the Animal Refuge League. Hope to see you all then! FMI Jill 317-0383.
Are there any parishioners who would like to donate to our Animal Refuge League supply drive this Lent? We are collecting: canned and dry cat/kitten/dog/puppy food, oxbow rabbit food, cat and dog toys, unscented non-clumping cat litter, gift cards to Hannaford, Amazon, Target, Walmart, Home Depot. Thanks for your support!
** Enhance your Lenten days using the Formed website with Catholic movies and documentaries as well as a commentary program episode by episode on "The Chosen" series
Just a reminder that the parish has paid for access to "Formed" and here's how to access it...

There are instructions on our website. Basically, you create your own account and password using the steps listed at the link above. Make sure you enter "Sebago Lakes Region Parishes Cluster" in the search box when you follow the link in step 1.
Tip: You may want to use a laptop or desktop, I've heard that their site is not very mobile friendly. If you created an account already but don't know the password, you may need to reset it. Look for options to Sign In and Reset Password.
Looking for more ways to grow in faith this Lent? Come to the Evening Women's Bible study at OLPH. It meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month 6:30-8pm.

As we begin a new year in the church, we are also at the beginning of the 3 year Eucharistic Revival happening in the church. This First Sunday of Advent we kicked off this revival in our parish with a special prayer that we will recite just before every Mass. You'll find this prayer on the seats of the church when you come. The Eucharistic Revival Prayer is below.
